It's almost impossible to install wrong as the electrical connectors and pipe connectors are different sized so can't get them turned around. Both the water dispenser and ice maker work perfectly now.

The ice maker in the my Whirlpool/Maytag refrigerator started to act up, to the point, where it water would leak out and fill up the ice holding bucket and drip down the back of the freezer. At first I blamed the ice maker, but I had replaced that 2 years ago. So my next thought was the valve assembly that adds water to the ice maker. That was the culprit. It was fairly easy to remove and replace. This product was the exact replica that I needed. I has been producing I for a few months now, so all good.
- Fixed my leaky water dispenser and ice maker.! Saved me from buying a new fridge, at least for now. Compressor might go on of these days, but this probably gives me until then. Note, for my fridge, there was an additional piece of hardware mounted together with the old valves that was not straight forward to separate. This ground the attachment out with a counter sink bit – was what I had. After that it mounted together with this using the existing screws on my fridge just fine.
